Check In is accomplished in our office which is located in the Carriage House (adjacent to the Castle), and our office closes at 6:00PM. An alternative check in time may be required for business guests due to flight schedules. These alternative times should be requested when making reservations.

RESERVATIONS:
We accept cash/check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover as advance payment for accommodations, and for a financial surety deposit. All reservations require advance payment at the time the reservations are made. Weekend rates apply to certain holidays and special events. Room rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to change without notice. The Kansas Suite and The Garden are the only suites which will accommodate more than two persons (there is a $25 per night charge for an additional guest.) We are unable to accommodate infants and young children, and allow no pets (seeing eye dogs permitted). Neither Reservations nor Cancellations may be made or requested via email.  In the event of the need to cancel a Reservation, you must call to get a valid cancellation number.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Your room is taken out of our inventory and held specifically for only you upon making a reservation and paying for the room in advance. All reservations require a TWO-WEEK notice to CANCEL OR CHANGE your reservation to avoid a charge for all nights reserved. Reservations for “special events” and weddings require one month’s cancellation notice for refund of advance payment. We regret that illness, inclement weather, transportation delays or a change of plans cannot waive the adherence to this cancellation policy. A charge for canceling will be assessed if proper cancellation procedures, as are outlined in your confirmation letter, are not strictly followed. There is a $20 bookkeeping/refund fee for any properly cancelled prepaid reservation.  Neither Reservations nor Cancellations may be made or requested via email.  In the event of the need to cancel a Reservation, you must call to get a valid cancellation number.

NON-SMOKING/OPEN FLAMES:
Due to insurance regulations, and The Castle’s irreplaceable woodwork, structural antiques and fixtures, we maintain a strict non-smoking and no open flames policy. Smoking is allowed only outdoors on the South porte-cochere porch. Potential fire hazards such as candles, votives, or open flames of any kind are also strictly prohibited.

REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY:
We welcome the general public to visit The Castle during specifically scheduled tours. For the privacy and security of our registered guests, The Castle is kept locked at all times and only registered guests have a key for entrance. This policy has been established to ensure all guests’ privacy. By honoring this policy, all guests are able to enjoy the exclusive atmosphere offered while visiting The Castle and surrounding grounds.

Carved in stone over the drive, it is only one of the many details that makes this historic landmark unique. The Castle Inn Riverside is housed in The Historic Campbell Castle, an 1888 Scottish Castle located on the banks of the Little Arkansas River.
