We got married there and it was amazing! Carriage rides and champaigne on the top of the Turret with only the stars above. Wichita’s best hotel in my book. No better night stay at any hotel in wichita than the castle inn riverside.

I highly recommend this small luxurious hotel. Especially during the holiday-season it’s gorgeous! I’m originally from Ireland, so I’ve seen loads of castles, but there’s just something about this one that left me with great memories! The owner Terry Lowry personally showed us all the neat places and items at the castle, which was so nice to experience! So everyone who wants a memorable outing, go stay at the Castle Inn (this wintertime!…lovely with the old fireplaces!)!

Honeymooned here, 5 year anniversary here and now we just stayed for our 10 year anniversary. The Castle never dissapoints and now we are giving an evening as a special gift! Thanks for sharing your treasure!

My grandaughter and I have celebrated two of her birthdays at the “Castle” and she wants to go back this year. What a unique and truly memorable experience to stay in the Castle Inn. The guest rooms, the food, the setting, the guest service — all are perfect.

My husband and I stayed there on December 13th, 2008 for our honeymoon and it was AMAZING!!!!! We really wanted to go back this year for our anniversary but couldnt afford it. However we do plan on hopefully going back to the Mary Queen of Scotts again. It was so relaxing and beautiful and Terry and Paula were so sweet! We really hope to be able to go back again. Now we are waiting on our son to arrive and are going to want a night away im sure and we would love to come back!

We have stayed at the Castle Inn three times now, and each time has been extremely special. The ambiance of the castle is so inviting and learning of/remembering the history is so interesting. It was especially amazing to see it the first time, as I can remember class trips to the “Crumm Castle” 25 years ago. We have made it our ambition to stay in every room!

On January 9 2010 we stayed in the Royal Court room and it was fantastic, it was our 7th wedding anniversary and we will be back for another stay.Thank you so much for all the good things we had to eat and drink.

My husband, son and I stayed at The Castle August 6th and morning of the 7th, 2010. We have traveled many places BUT we have never had such a wonderful time as we just had. The Castle in quiet, beautiful, peaceful and the the Lowry’s are the ideal hosts. Every room has been tastefully decorated and the staff and owners are extremely gracious, kind and thoughtful. Breakfast was a delight in itself. Delicious juices, quiches, coffeecake, hot coffee and the most beautifully decorated table. You will not be disappointed with the snacks upon your arrival, and the desserts on weekends. We had the run of the Castle so to speak and took many pictures. If you want a memorable, beautiful honeymoon or get together you must contact the office. Many hotels will charge you the same but they can’t compare. We are going again in the next year. This is a life time experience. Great shopping for antiques downtown also. The Lowry’s deserve the Inn Keeper’s Award for their great service. Great place to get married also.
